You can tell immediately that this oilve oil was made with high quality olives at the first cold press. Not only does it have a beautiful color and light aroma, it is well balanced, delicate, and rich/smooth to the mouthfeel. It proved to be versatile; we used it for a light sautee, as a companion to a Modena balsamic, and as a finishing oil on humus it was beautiful in all applications. Dorati EVOO is slighty sweet and fruity. Perfect for our use! Lovely versatile olive oil...we will definitely order again..trying the lemon next!

This DORATI Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a really nice product from Italy. It comes in a glass bottle, but the size is quite small (250ml). Because of the price, I cannot use this oil for general cooking purposes, like sautéing or frying. It is definitely more of a finishing item for special use, not an everyday pantry staple. Where this oil truly shines is when I mix it into a dressing or use it for dipping bread. The flavor is light, which is good. It is not overpowering at all, so it pairs well with other foods without taking over. Since the oil is so good consumed raw, it truly elevates simple appetizers (like bruschetta or a simple Italian bread plate).

This olive oil is long gone. My husband cooks with a lot of olive oil, and he enjoyed adding this one to dishes. It was very smooth and we used it for both cooking and in dressings. I just wish it was less expensive or came in a larger bottle. The bottle arrived intact – which isn’t always the case with this kind of purchase. I am curious about the olives used – the oil itself was actually rather mild tasting, which is not what I expected from the listing.

I purchased this olive oil for the first time WOW I’m impressed of the quality and texture of this product. I definitely will purchase more. I’m thinking of buying the lemon infused oil. Now that should be great for my Greek salads cant wait.
